Today's Daily Bible Reading is from Nehemiah 4:1-23. Those who were building the city wall of Jerusalem experienced opposition. Sanballat and Tobiah had been against the building of the wall ever since they heard about it. Their allegiance was to the Persian king. Now they were mocking the Jews and making fun of the work they were doing to rebuild the wall.
